Yes, I'm not hyped to the new MLP episodes and movies anymore.
Firstly, I've just heard that Equestria Girls is supposed to be a trilogy. Though I myself still haven't seen an official statement from Hasbro yet, nor an official info about it. Someone wrote it in the comments in Equestria Daily (saying that Hasbro confirmed it) and I myself found it only on 2 (I don't even know whether trustworthy sites) equestriaconfidential.com/eque…

But something tells me that it's gonna be truth and it quite makes sense... I never thought about it. If it's really a truth, then all my hopes for a better future of Equestria Girls are gone... No more Sunset Shimmer, no more new adventures and a totally lost potential. I always saw a HUGE potential in this spin-off despite most of bronies still hate it. Seriously, this is all that Hasbro wanted to offer to us? Three human pony movies and all of them are just focused to school COMPETITIONS. I expected something MORE than just that. More action, more character development (especially for Sunset) and more epicness WITHOUT a competitions as a main focus (though it doesn't stop me to prefer EqG over the show, but rather it pushed my interest more). Not only they didn't make a show for EqG too, but they are going to cancel the movies too. In this case they really could at least bring Sunset to Equestria and make her be one of Mane 6, so her character could get the chance to develop more, heck, she deserves it after that all! But that would be too much for the show, probably.... This info just ruined even my excitement for the third (last) EqG movie.
I just want to know -how many of you know about it? And is there an official statement about it from Hasbro too? Or am I panicking for nothing again?
And plus, even my fear for MLP season 5 came true. It's gonna have a summer break. And the hiatus between S5 and S6 may be almost 1 year again since I guess season 6 will be aired in Fall/or/Winter next year. And the future of MLP is becoming suspicious too, I feel more like season 7 will be the last one, judging by upcoming pony movie in 2017 that might be the final movie which finishes the show. And 2016 will be probably without a movie.
I know that sometimes it's better to stop than run out of ideas and make it worse (though EqG still offers so much to discover and enjoy after only 3 movies that seems too little).
But MLP & EqG is sadly everything that brings a joy to my gloomy life... and the only thing I consider to be perfect for my taste... If it will end sooner than I'll find another bigger interest (what will hardly happen that soon), I have no idea what will I do...
